The song is about some of the hurtful phrases thrown between loved ones. I tried to make it sound like they were responses to a situation said by the third person. It has some pleasing riffs in it, that we keep listening to.
lyrics
They said this very heart
Would fall apart
Of course I knew it wouldn't
Said this very heart would fall apart
I knew it shouldn't
Are you convincing when you say
I believe it's the real thing
Feel it when you say
I believe it's the real thing
******
Couldn't be so sure it wouldn't mean no more
It doesn't show on the outside
I couldn't be so sure it wouldn't mean no more
It doesn't show on the outside
Said that I thought it was way out of line
Your answer back it was hardly a crime
Now I'm so messed up and feeling so down
